This hero of the Resistance was born in Béziers in 1899. The City decided to celebrate the life of its famous son by dedicating a space entirely to this multi-faceted man with his endearing personality, passions, youthfulness and achievements. The house where Jean Moulin was born is an attractive Haussmannian-style building from the end of the 19th century located in Rue d’Alsace. Along with its neighbouring houses, it forms a harmonious whole. The building itself is of no particular architectural value. But it's here, on the first floor, that Jean Moulin was born in 1899.
