Make the most of your stay in Béziers Méditerranée and its ideal geographic location. Explore all the treasures of the region.

To the west, go back to the time of the troubadours and visit the medieval city of Carcassonne with its ramparts and castle. A little further south is Narbonne - the epitome of a Roman town, with its "small" Robine canal, and its cathedral !

To the north-west, take a break in the village of Roquebrun with its Mediterranean park, or take a trip down the River Orb in a canoe.

Do not miss Minerve, one of the most beautiful villages in France, a historical centre of Catharism.

For city lovers, head west to the regional "capital", Montpellier, where there are plenty of interesting things to do for all the family (zoo, museums, aquarium, parks). If you're a fan of history or theatre, you'll enjoy the visit to Pézenas, where a certain Jean-Baptiste Poquelin, better known as "Molière", lived (Pézenas is also known as the "town of the second-hand goods trade").

Lastly, to the north-east of the area, take your family for a stroll through some not-to-be-missed sites: Lake Salagou, the cirque of Mourèze for nature-lovers; Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert with its Romanesque abbey; Agde the city of Antiquity and the biggest seaside resort in Europe; or Sète, "the singular island", a fishing town and one of the major trading ports in the Mediterranean.
